1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to the website owners.
We may also use similar technologies such as local storage and session storage, which function similarly to cookies.
2. Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
The public marketing pages (productbrain.io) do not require login or a server-side session and do not set essential cookies. No login or session is required to
view these pages.
Analytics and product cookies (PostHog)
On public marketing pages, PostHog is configured with memory-only
persistence for aggregate pageviews and selected CTA events. It does not write a durable
PostHog identifier to cookies or localStorage, and session recording and autocapture are
disabled. In the signed-in web application, we use PostHog for product
analytics and feature flags. PostHog may set cookies or use local storage (e.g. names
prefixed with ph_) as described in PostHog’s privacy policy.

3. How We Obtain Consent
We do not yet run a third-party cookie consent banner on this site. Marketing analytics is limited to memory-only aggregate measurement that does not set analytics cookies or localStorage identifiers, and is skipped when your browser sends the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If we add optional marketing analytics that writes durable identifiers or non-essential cookies on public pages, we will provide a consent mechanism (e.g. banner) and update this policy. You can still control or delete cookies via your browser (section 4).
4. Managing Cookies via Your Browser
Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. Common options include:
- Viewing what cookies are stored and deleting individual cookies
- Blocking third-party cookies
- Blocking all cookies
- Deleting all cookies when you close the browser

5. Third-Party Cookies
Third-party technologies we use in the product include:
- PostHog — see section 2. PostHog privacy policy.
- Clerk — authentication; session cookies when you sign in.

We may update this cookie policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. If we add new categories of cookies, we will seek your consent before setting them.
